LENDAN is proud to partner and support a variety of charities and special events that help raise awareness and much needed funds. LENDAN is committed to working with these organisations in helping to make a real difference.
 
Below is a list of some of the charities that LENDAN continues to support:
 
 
Make-A-Wish Australia


In 2010, LENDAN donated $20,000 to
Make-A-Wish Australia and also introduced the Wishes for Kids Awards and helped raise funds through collection tins and direct purchase of LENDAN Hair & Skin Care Products.
 
In 2011, LENDAN has expanded its support of Make-A-Wish Australia through direct involvement with branches & their individual events Australia Wide offering products for auctions to help raise funds and also samples for each guest to take home as a thank you for their continued support.
 
Children’s Hospital
Foundation Australia



The CHFA is the national fund-raising partner of Children’s Hospitals, including the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Sydney Children’s Hospital & the Princess Margaret Hospital.
 
  In 2011, LENDAN will be providing salons the opportunity to have a CHFA Collection Tin on their front counter to help raise much needed funds.
Pink Ribbon -
Breakfast by the Bay



LENDAN once again supported the Pink Ribbon Breakfast by the Bay by providing a LENDAN Product Hamper to help raise funds through the silent auction.
 
The 2010 event raised more than $23,500 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and catered for 394 people!
Beyond Blue -
Just Speak Up PND Campaign



LENDAN is proud to support Beyond Blue and its latest and very important campaign
“Just Speak Up” for Postnatal Depression awareness and is aimed at pregnant women,
new mothers, their partners and families.
Burnet Institute


LENDAN is proud to support the Burnet Institute and its various events that help raise funds to assist with medical research.
 
The Burnet Institute aims to achieve better health for poor and vulnerable communities in Australia & Internationally through research, education & public health, specifically focusing on HIV/AIDS, Maternal and Child Health & Adolescent Health.
The Warwick Foundation -
No Tan Jan Campaign


New in 2011, LENDAN will be supporting the Warwick Foundations “No Tan Jan” Campaign; an initiative aimed at young men and women and Australia’s first and only organisation supporting young adults with cancer.
 
LENDAN will be providing products that can assist with obtaining a safe tan without having to expose your skin to the sun or solariums.
Sids and Kids


LENDAN yet again continues its support for children by providing products for fund raising events dedicated to saving babies and children’s lives through the elimination of sudden and unexpected infant deaths during pregnancy, birth and childhood, supporting bereaved families and funding research into stillbirth.
Melbourne City Romp


LENDAN provided a Hair & Skin Care Product Hamper for the Gold Pool Prize in the 2010 Melbourne City Romp, which proudly supports the Burnet Institutes medical research into HIV, TB and Malaria.
 
LENDAN looks forward to continuing its support of this unique & very important event in 2011.
Isbella & Marcus Paediatric
Brainstem Tumor Fund



LENDAN provided Skin Care Products for the First Annual Ladies Morning Tea, which had 120 ladies attend and a total of $6,000 was raised. These funds are used for raising much needed awareness into the plight of children diagnosed with brainstem tumours and establishing a Research Lab in the Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Parkville Victoria.
Vinnies


LENDAN supported the Styled by Vinnies launch event at Vinnies Paddington and will continue to support these events throughout 2011.
 
LENDAN is proud that it can support an organisation that truly epitomises the Australian Spirit by providing a helping hand to the local community.
Hamlin Fistula Relief & Aid Fund - Girls Night Out Event


LENDAN provided sample bags for all guests supporting the Hamlin Fistula Relief & Aid Fund which supports the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.
World’s Greatest Shave


In 2011, LENDAN sponsored Emma Shepperd from QLD who chose to Shave her hair to help raise funds. LENDAN provided a Gift Pack valued at $130 to be raffled. Emma’s fund-raising target was $1,000 but she ended up raising $1,172.50!
Cerebral Palsy Alliance


LENDAN is beginning its support of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance by providing products and samples for the Might & Power Gala Race Day Event which is anticipating 1000 guests!
 
LENDAN is looking forward to further supporting the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in all of its events throughout 2011 and beyond.
Variety the Children’s Charity


LENDAN recently provided Variety a product hamper for the Dine for Kids Event to help raise much needed funds.
Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute


LENDAN recently provided the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute a product hamper for the Annual Gala Ball to help raise much needed funds for this inspirational organisation.
Melbourne University Australasian Association


LENDAN has provided products and samples for a number of Melbourne University Australasian Association events and is looking forward to continuing this support in 2011 and beyond.
Melbourne Winter Festival


LENDAN is proud to support the Melbourne Winter Festival and has provided products as part of the major prize give away.
Autism Advisory Support Service - Girls Night Out Event

LENDAN provided samples for over 270 ladies who attended the event and also a Hair & Beauty Pack which was part of a raffle.
Movember


LENDAN’s very own Nick Panagiotou has joined the cause and will be sporting a moustache in support of Movember.

LENDAN was a proud sponsor of the BFLC’s Charity Play “Peter Pan” aimed at raising awareness and funds for Domestic Violence!

LENDAN donated a Hair & Skin Care Pack for a raffle aimed at raising funds for a long-term project of re-landscaping the front garden, outdoor play area and replacing existing play equipment. The total raised from
this one raffle was $1775!
