Active Ingredients and Technology

Lendan has always achieved a balance between its commitment to the requirements of its customers and continuing research and development skills.

Lendan, as a pioneer brand, has undertaken not to use ingredients from animals. Instead, safer ingredients from vegetable, marine origin, biotechnological or chemical syntheses are preferred for use in cosmetic formulas.
 
Below is a list of some of the Active Ingredients and Technology that can be found across the Lendan Professional and Retail Ranges.

 
- Wira Oil: an excellent vegetable source of omegas due to its high
 Omega 3 and 6 content, it has been used by pre-Inca tribes to moisturise
 and rejuvenate the skin. It has a particularly soothing effect.
 
- Sunflower lipids / Texturizing Polymers / Interference Pigments: Retexturizes    
 the epidermis, hiding wrinkles and imperfections.


- Phytosan (Soya Extract): Acts as a “biological cell filter” protecting the cells from the
 action of harmful UV radiation.
 
- Extract of Artemia Salina (Marine Plankton): Helps to “re-awaken” cells so that  
 they recover the structure and vital functions of younger skin.

- Ambre Oceane (Extract of the seaweed Pelvetia Canaliculata):
  Rich in isoflavones of marine origin with DHEA-like hormonal action.
 Has a potent redensifying effect on the skin, which translates into a
 clear diminution in the number, length and depth of wrinkles.


- Active Anti-Oxidizing Complex (Grape Seeds and Vitamin E): A powerful anti-
 free radical cocktail that protects the cells from oxidizing stress.
 
- Malt Extract (Purified Yeast Extract): Stimulates the binding together of the  
 dermin-epidermis body, helping the epidermis to be better nourished, improving its
 connections and strengthening the anchorage of the dermis of the epidermis.
 
- Ginger Root: Clears the mind, helps recover your memory. Helps to
 eliminate liquid. Improves the lymphatic and venous circulation.
 Increases muscle tone. Prevents premature ageing.
 
- Orange Concentrate: Natural Vitamin C extract enriched with Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6,
 essential oils and natural preservatives.


- Vitamin C Thalaspheres: Thalaspheres are capsules that preserve and stabilise
 Vitamin C, enabling it to act with the full force of its energy. It is released gradually, as
 and when the skin needs it.

- Brazil Nut Oil: a great anti-oxidant with highly nutritive properties that
 restore the lipid barrier, it has been used for centuries as a food due to its
 rich selenium content.


- Vitamin E: The most powerful anti-free radical active ingredient becomes even  
 stronger when combined with Vitamin C. It also moisturises the skin and improves its
 elasticity.
 
- Activated Ceramides: Ceramides help the epidermis to retain water, with immediate
 moisturising of all tissues.

- Guar Extract: Guar is rich in caffeine and has decongestant and lymph-circulation
 activating properties.
 
- Extract of Tephrosia Purpurea: Stimulates beta-endorphin
 synthesis, increasing the feeling of well-being and relaxation.
 
- Solar Filter: Protects against the damaging effects that the sun and its rays
 have on the skin.
 
- Acnacidol: A biomimetic ingredient from an omega-hidroxy-acid,
 extracted from royal jelly. Prevents sebum hyper-secretion.

- Asian Pennywort: used in Ayurvedic medicine, it has anti-cellulite and slimming
 properties.
 
- Soya Seeds: originally from China, it is regarded as one of the five sacred seeds and is
 much appreciated for its powerful antioxidant action.
 
- Green Tea Leaves: Known as the elixir of youth, it is obtained from the
 leaves of the Lung Ching variety of the botanical species Camelia Sinensis
 Link. Awakens the body and mind. The aroma of green tea essence
 provides a sensation of peace and well-being, an essential component of
 aromatherapy treatments. Lipolytic helps to eliminate fat. Ideal for
 slimming treatments. The polyphenols in the tea neutralise the free radicals
 that cause skin ageing. Helps to eliminate toxins, tunes the figure.


- Citronella: a sweet-smelling citrus fruit used in traditional Indian medicine for its
 antiseptic properties. It is used to combat cellulite and mental fatigue. Improves and
 tones the skin.

- Tea Tree Oil Cyclodextrins: Of plant origin, obtained from Melaleuca
 Alternifolia (tea tree). Fights against bacterial proliferation and reduces
 inflammation.


- Star Aniseed: a Chinese medicinal plant known as “Asiatic Gold”, it possesses
 relaxing properties that improve digestive problems.


- Ginkgo Biloba: a Chinese tree known as the tree of the 40 shields. It has a high
 antioxidant effect and improves the peripheral circulation.
 
- Cotton Seed Oil: provides smoothness and moisturizes the skin after waxing.
 
- Willow Bark Extract: Of plant origin, extracted from willow bark, rich
  in salicylic acid and prevents hyperkeratosis.
 
- Benzopiridine Bromide: specific B BD Complex hair growth retardant with
 antiseptic properties, which prevents the growth of hair follicle cells without
 affecting the surrounding areas.
 
- Bisabolol: has calming and decongestant properties.
 
- Hyaluronic Acid: balances the hydro-lipid mantle by providing hydration.
 
- Epaline: a vegetable-origin complex, in extract form, with anti-inflammatory and
 healing effects.
 
- Frescolat: is derived from Menthol and provides a refreshing sensation which calms
 the effects of hair removal using heat.
 
- Shale Oil: Of mineral origin, obtained from sulphur-rich, rocky, sediment.
 Fights against bacterial proliferation and reduces inflammation.
